This past Thursday, Team Contribune was out in force at Tech Cocktail DC. Contribune , along with five other startups, demoed web applications for a large and engaged crowd. Among those in attendance were Mixed Ink’s David and Diditz’s Sohit.
The team had a good conversation with Raj of Introin about finding more ways for DC startups to better work together. We met quite a few new people, including the guys behind Planypus, iDooba, Strands and GeniusRocket. Thanks to Frank Gruber for putting together this great event.

I am seeking web partner for enabling Political MicroDonation (under $1). FAQ & Proof of Concept at http://www.Chagora.com
Political MicroDonation is an essential element for re-balancing the civic marketplace.
Keys to its creation:
*MicroDonation with unified accounting and reporting for both sides for charity and cause-based entities (any legal contribution from mere pennies to legal limits)
*Electoral/Geographic Networking Facilitators
*Related Live Elements
CHAGORA MUST be non-partisan, transparent, secure, trustworthy and EASILY available to all!
Most people NEVER give to a cause or campaign….
THEY WILL!
From USA TODAY Sept 19:
“Among the nation’s top political donors since 1989 are 10 of the nation’s biggest banks and investment firms (who)showered lawmakers, parties and candidates with $170 million. While the money flowed, financial institutions generally got what they wanted.”
$170 Million dollars! A lot of money! We can’t possibly compete with that!
REALLY?
The POWER of SMALL money, LARGE numbers & Immediate Feedback that may not have occurred to you – POLITICAL MICRODONATION!
